THE PRACTICE Deoora Clinic is a well-appointed multi-disciplinary clinic located in the renowned medical district of London. Transportation options are numerous. There is off-street metered parking on Harley Street and there is a car park in the area. The nearest underground stations are Regents Park or Baker Street. Several bus services operate nearby and taxi services may be hailed from the street. The practice building is situated in Harley Street, south of Marylebone Road, second block on the right hand side. Press the bell marked 'Suite 10' which is entitled Deoora Clinic. The receptionist will allow you access into the building via the video entry phone system. Upon entering the building take the lift to the 4th floor. The practice is on the left hand side.
My charges are £70 per consultation/treatment. Each treatment lasts approximately 45 minutes. Payment is by cheque or cash. Payment can be made after each treatment or at the end of an agreed number of treatments. A receipt can be issued with payment upon request. At the initial consultation we will discuss the most appropriate therapy for your complaint, be it acupuncture, herbal treatment, or a combination. Chinese herbal remedies cost between £5 - £15 per prescription. You may also receive moxabustion therapy (a form of heat treatment) as part of the therapy. This is deeply relaxing and enhances the acupuncture treatment. We will discuss and agree upon the course of treatment, and at the end of this course of treatment we will review the progress made and if necessary, will agree further treatment.
Before treatment please avoid alcohol and/or a large meal. Please provide information about any current medications you are taking at your initial consultation. You are welcomed to discuss your questions fully at your first consultation. If you are going to have acupuncture, it will be administered as part of your first consultation.
